BIO

DATS THE CRUX are robots.
Powered by a beat. Programmed to have fun.

The three singers make you want to short circuit on the dance floor with their infectious melodies & robot moves.

Since starting in March 2006, Dats The Crux have played shows in Auckland & Wellington with acts like North Shore Pony Club, house DJ Tim Richards & Quay St Social Club's Andrew Tidball.

Joy Ramirez writes all the music, and has co-written some songs with her brother Michael Ramirez who played in Cut Off Your Hands.

Joy is currently recording the debut DATS THE CRUX EP.
